We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety. This role involves detailed inspection, analysis, and adherence to quality assurance protocols to maintain the integrity of our products and uphold regulatory compliance. The ideal applicant will possess strong analysis skills, familiarity with HACCP principles, and a keen eye for detail to support continuous improvement within our manufacturing processes.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
Implement and monitor HACCP procedures to ensure food safety and regulatory adherence.
Analyse products and processes using established criteria to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability and audits.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Assist in developing and updating quality assurance procedures and protocols.
Participate in internal audits and support external inspections as required.
Contribute to ongoing training programmes on quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Knowledge of HACCP principles and their practical application.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report findings.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications or certifications related to quality management are desirable but not essential.
