Within the Clinical Quality there are three defined areas of activity; Safeguarding, Medicines Management, Infection Prevention, Quality and Safety. The Quality Data Assistant will work across all areas of the team to provide an efficient, effective, high quality and customer focused administrative and data input service which supports the Quality and Safety Team in ensuring the quality and performance KPI's are met.
Run system reports as required to ensure information is gained so that data is accurate and complete.
Input all information onto relevant Systems in accordance with procedures, ensuring accuracy at all times.
Deal with telephone enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and escalate those which require input from the Head of Quality and Safety.
Undertake scanning, photocopying, sorting and distribution of mail as required and in accordance with organisation's Policy.
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timescales are met.
Ensure all work is undertaken in line with Caldicott and the Data Protection Act.
In times of colleague's absence or heavy workload, ensure work is prioritised and undertaken appropriately.
Development of reports to export and analyse data.
Assist the Quality and Safety Team with data quality validation exercises.
Submission and upload of reports.
Any other duties required by the Quality and Safety Team that are commensurate with the role.
Present data, which can often be complex and multi-stranded in a way that can be easily understood.
