Our normal working week is 38 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm

The Role

Support the Quality Department in maintaining compliance with applicable certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IECEx).

Create, implement, and review quality documentation, including Quality Standards, Quality Plans, Inspection Instructions, and Calibration Instructions.

Support the Goods Inwards Inspection process to ensure the quality and conformity of received product/material.

Maintain First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities (where applicable).

Maintain a system for controlling and tracking customer concessions/deviations and customer problem reports.

Collect and maintain records relating to product compliance (e.g., RoHS, REACH, PFAS) when required.

Review quality metrics and KPIs and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Support the maintenance and periodic review of the calibration system.

Lead problem-solving activities, including 8D investigations, and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Act as a customer point of contact for quality-related queries and information requests.

Support Engineering with the introduction of new products and processes (NPI/NPD).

Use structured problem-solving techniques to support Quality Inspectors and Production team members.

Carry out any other reasonable duties as required

. Minimum of 2 recent years experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

Desired criteria
Experience in an electronics (PCBA) manufacturing environment

A relevant engineering or quality-related qualification

Previous internal auditing auditing experience
