As we continue to grow, we are seeking a

Quality Engineer

who is passionate about manufacturing quality and eager to progress into a

Quality Manager

role over time.

The Role

As a

Quality Engineer

, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet customer specifications and industry standards. Working closely with production, engineering, and management teams, you will help drive quality improvements and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and maintain the

ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

management systems. Conduct internal audits and assist with external customer and certification audits. Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and root cause analysis. Develop inspection and test procedures for cable assemblies and harnesses. Support first article inspections (FAI) and customer documentation requirements. Analyse quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices. Work collaboratively with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Desirable:

Experience within

cable assembly, wiring harness

, or similar manufacturing environment. Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 or similar industry standards. Previous involvement in environmental or health & safety systems. Ambition to progress to

Quality Manager

within 2-3 years.

Essential Requirements:

Experience within a manufacturing environment. Good understanding of

ISO 9001 quality systems

(ISO 14001 knowledge advantageous). Proven experience in inspection, and process improvement. Auditing. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Competence in reading engineering drawings and using measurement tools.
