plays a critical role in ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards, as well as customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements. This position involves developing and implementing quality control systems, producing essential product documentation, and supporting the successful release of new products into production. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and external interested parties to ensure the delivery of conforming, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
new product introduction (NPI)
and
contract review
activities in collaboration with Sales, Production Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
Responsible for
industrial validation
,
critical item (Grade A)
assessments, and compliance assurance.
Liaise with
customers
to understand and implement product-specific quality requirements.
Work with
suppliers
to ensure delivered products and services are compliant with quality standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain
quality standards
, processes, and documentation.
Conduct
root cause analysis
and develop effective
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
.
Audit internal processes and monitor performance to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards.
Collaborate across departments and the
supply chain
to resolve product and process quality issues.
Analyse and improve
product and process specifications
.
Prepare and maintain key
quality documentation
(e.g., PPAP, PFMEA, process flows, control plans, inspection reports).
Conduct
supplier quality audits
and manage supplier development for quality performance.
Train
production and quality staff
on quality tools, systems, and procedures.
Support and lead
customer and supplier visits or audits
.
Assist
the inspection department
when required.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience
in a quality engineering or similar role.
Strong knowledge of
quality tools
such as PFMEA, RCCA, CAPA, NPI, and Contract Review.
Familiarity with
quality standards and regulations
(e.g., EN9100 or equivalent).
Proficient in
microsoft office
and experience using
quality management systems (QMS)
.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a
regulated industry
(e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical device).
Hands-on experience with
new product introduction (NPI)
and
contract review
processes.
Understanding of
industry-specific
and
customer quality/process specifications
.
Excellent
written and verbal communication
