Permanent, 37 hours per week, working a 4-day week over a 5-day

operational week.

Brookhouse Aerospace is a prominent name within the Aerospace Sector, providing Advanced Composite and Metal Components for Civil & Defense Aerospace applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in our aerospace products.

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical part in overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and tests, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement robust quality assurance plans and procedures for aerospace products. Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Analyse test results, identify potential quality issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure that all products meet regulatory and internal quality standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to integrate quality controls throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct supplier audits and work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system. Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and procedures.

Requirements:



Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry. Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations. Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
