Job Overview

Kingfisher Lighting is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Operations team in Mansfield. If you have a strong electrical and mechanical background, a passion for quality, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Support the Quality Manager and ensure ISO9001 processes are followed Investigate and process all quality issues, including product quality and damaged goods Advise the supply chain on product issues and manage warranty claims Distribute non-product related customer queries to relevant departments and monitor progress Monitor and action all Return Management Authorisations (RMAs) Provide practical product information to internal staff Handle customer calls regarding technical and product issues, including on-site installation advice Inspect inbound goods and review assembly/fabrication QC checks on outgoing goods Review technical drawings for fabricated items (knowledge of CAD and SolidWorks desirable) Become an internal auditor for ISO9001

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role At least 3 years' hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) Excellent electrical and mechanical experience Strong understanding of technical documentation Good statistical analysis skills Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent interpersonal skills--approachable, diplomatic, and decisive Ability to handle pressure and challenging situations effectively
