Your Role:



As a

Quality Engineer

, you will be responsible for driving quality and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the manufacturing and assembly processes, with a focus on achieving zero defects.

You will work closely with production teams, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure consistent and high-quality output in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities



Lead root cause 8D investigations for customer rejects and internal defects, ensuring corrective actions prevent recurrence. Maintain rigorous audit processes, ensuring adherence to ISO9001 (AS9100 & IATF16949 desirable). Manage non-conformities, implement preventive actions, and issue SCARs to drive supplier improvements. Develop SOPs and visual setup guides for manual assembly lines, including jigs, tools, and presses to ensure consistent quality. Use CMM, GD&T, and other tools for precise quality assessments, calibration, and ISIR reviews. Act as the key quality contact, ensuring quality is embedded within operations, supporting production teams, and coordinating reworks, RMAs, and 8D reviews. Lead quality planning for new product introductions, ensuring robust documentation and validation. Use Microsoft Office to manage quality metrics, drive improvements, and support decision-making. Identify and implement quality enhancements across production and operations.

Experience & Skills required:



Experience with assembly and troubleshooting of electromechanical components. ISO9001 (AS9100 & IATF16949 desirable). Understanding of PCB manufacturing, inspection, and failure analysis essential Knowledge of rotating machinery (i.e. motorized impellers) and its quality requirements, desirable Experience with SCARs and structured supplier quality improvement. Understanding of manual assembly lines; jigs, tools, and presses for efficient production. Ability to integrate quality processes seamlessly into production and operations. Focused on eliminating defects and ensuring robust corrective actions. Uses 8D, SCARs, and root cause analysis to drive improvements. Guides teams as necessary. Ensures sustainable quality improvements.
