This role is suited to someone proactive, analytical and confident working across multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyse quality data across production, installations and suppliers
Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC)
Drive continuous improvement using lean methods (Kaizen, 3S, TPM)
Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits
Track key quality metrics, including RFT, scrap and rework rates
Carry out inspections, internal audits and quality checks
Support SOP development and quality documentation
Provide training on quality standards and lean practices
Work cross-functionally with engineering, production and supply chain teams

What We're Looking For
Essential:
3-5 years' experience in quality engineering within lean manufacturing
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of ISO 9001, lean principles and continuous improvement
Proficiency with tools such as Excel or Minitab
Experience working with RFT, scrap and rework KPIs
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
Lean/Kaizen certification
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification
