An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well-established, prestigious Surface Treatment Specialists in the Aerospace Sector located in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment with a track record of producing quality work to the highest standards.
The candidate must possess good communication skills and be computer literate with Microsoft Office products.
Key Tasks will be
Investigations into non-conformities
Quality tools: RCCA, 8D, Lean 5Y, 55 and FMEA to identify failure trends of products and processes and introduce corrective and preventative actions.
Quality audits, such as NADCAP, AS9100, ISO 9001 QMS, ISO14001
First Article Inspection Reports
Carry out internal audits in line with internal audit plans
Interpretation and understanding of drawings and specifications and other relevant technical documents.
Liaise with Production personnel and customers.
