Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Quality Inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the inspection and testing of products (cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, control panels) to ensure they meet quality standards. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct visual inspections and measurements on materials, work in progress, and finished products. Assist in conducting tests to verify product functionality, durability, and overall quality. Document and report inspection results, as per customer drawings, identifying and recording any deviations from quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborate with the production and quality team to investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner. Participate in the internal audit inspection process (1st offs, calibrated tools & equipment, drawings, maintenance and inspection equipment). Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions in all quality-related activities. Communicate effectively with all team members and contribute to a positive, safe and quality controlled working environment.

Qualifications

A Level, diploma or equivalent work experience; additional education in quality assurance or a related field is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Basic understanding of quality control principles and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies. Willingness to learn or possess knowledge of MRP (Solvitt) software and despatch processes
