Hourly rate:

13:50-15:00

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 7.00 AM - 5.30 PM

Key Duties

Prepare tanks for pressure testing by fitting gaskets, blanking hatches, installing plugs and pressure gauge. Detect leaks on welded tanks through the use of data logged pressure decay testing and the use of soapy water test solution at various stages of manufacture. Ensure all pressure-testing equipment is correctly maintained, in good condition, and within current calibration. Carry out visual weld inspections to BS EN ISO 17637. (Training can be provided). Assist in investigating, resolving, and implementing corrective actions. Document and report all non-conformances, ensuring records are accurately completed, uploaded to relevant systems/folders, and maintained in line with company procedures.

Essential

Strong attention to detail with the ability to carry out accurate pressure testing, leak detection, and visual inspections of welded tanks and components. IT literate, with the ability to send emails, upload documents to shared folders/systems, and accurately complete and update inspection, test, and non-conformance records. Excellent eyesight, suitable for detailed visual weld inspections and defect identification. A practical understanding of weld quality expectations and inspection standards; knowledge of

BS EN ISO 17637

would be beneficial (training can be provided). Ability to accurately document, report, and assist in the investigation of non-conformances, supporting corrective actions and continuous quality improvement.
