Position Overview
We are seeking a
skilled and motivated Quality Inspector
to take full ownership of our inspection and quality control processes.
This is a key role in our business - ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and wants to
develop and lead the inspection area
as part of a close-knit, family-run company. You'll work with state-of-the-art metrology and inspection systems, ensuring our components meet exacting tolerances and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of the inspection and quality assurance function within the business.
Inspect precision components and tooling to tight tolerances for F1, motorsport, and aerospace customers.
Operate, program, and maintain a wide range of inspection and measurement equipment.
Verify components against engineering drawings, CAD data, and customer specifications.
Accurately record, report, and communicate inspection results.
Maintain calibration records and ensure all inspection equipment is in excellent working order.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure right-first-time quality.
Inspection Equipment

Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in precision component inspection within a manufacturing or toolmaking environment.
Strong understanding of
engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances
.
Competent in using both manual and automated metrology equipment.
CMM programming or operation experience (Mitutoyo, DEA, or similar systems).
Working knowledge of
ISO 9001 quality standards and inspection documentation
.
High attention to detail and a methodical, quality-driven mindset.
