Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled QC Inspector ideally with woodworking experience to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will support SHEQ Manager in upholding and driving quality standards. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:



Working closely with technical, design and production teams to ensure quality is maintained and viable in production Perform quality checks on all outgoing products for shipping from Morley and prepare the product for shipping Complete and document inspection outcomes by completing Product Inspection Checklists Working closely with the SHEQ Manager and quality team; adopt, improve and implement current processes across the business Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality standards, quarantine and escalate to relevant person/department Read technical drawings and specifications to understand and correctly verify the dimensions, requirements and functionality of products Recommend improvements to the design and production process to ensure quality is maintained Work with the Production team to improve product excellence Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner, understanding the root cause and implementing a permanent fix Identify and carry out corrective action of all internal complaints working with production, design and logistics

Job requirements:



Proven experience as an QC Inspector ideally in woodworking manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions Ability to lift and move heavy furniture components Capable of standing for extended periods

Work Environment:



Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Exposure to noise, dust, and other typical conditions of a furniture assembly line.

Working hours:



6.00am to 14.30pm, Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.30-14.00 per hour
