AWE is currently recruiting Level 2 or Level 3 Radiographers ideally with experience in Computed Tomography. Seeking applicants from either Industrial or Medical Radiography backgrounds. If possible, candidates may also have experience of automated inspection or control systems.

Quality Inspector - Radiography

Salary - \xc2\xa327,960 - \xc2\xa335,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Location - Reading Area

Closing date - 10th July 2023

Duties to include:

  • Carry out inspection duties to meet programme demand and deliver continuous improvement in product quality.
  • Develop radiography / CT methods and processes.
  • Carry out duties to support the Safe System of Work for Radiography.
  • Support delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies.
  • Accept or reject finished items.
  • Report inspection results with those responsible for products.
  • Work to company deadlines and targets.
  • Engagement with the wider team, relevant AWE stakeholders and other functions to enhance inspection techniques. Inspect final products to ensure they are manufactured to a high standard.
