Job Description

We are looking for a Quality / Production Inspector who will ensure our product meets all quality standards before it goes to our customers. Duties include inspecting the product, ensuring customer specifications are met, and certifying the product meets our industry standards. This would suit someone who likes working as part of a team, with an eye for detail.

Our state-of-the-art Vertical Line is one of Barley Chalu's newest plants. It produces leading architectural anodising or powder-coated products within its industry. Our high standards are achieved through compliance and adherence to our testing and control procedures in operation within the area.

The selected candidate has the opportunity to gain promotion within our company and to develop skills as an individual. The role involves unloading from the line and helping with the production process. However, this role aims to be vigilant, with help from the Lab, to inspect the quality of the products passing through the process. Full training will be given on all aspects of this role.

Qualification:



No specific qualifications are required. Previous experience with quality management (optional). Previous experience in a production environment (optional).

Main duties include:



Conducting visual inspections of products and materials at various stages of the manufacturing process. Performing measurements and tests to verify product specifications and quality standards are met. Identifying defects, deviations, or inconsistencies in products or materials. Documenting inspection results, including detailed records of defects and non-conformances. Communicating findings to production staff, supervisors, and quality control personnel. Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensuring adherence to quality control procedures. Maintaining inspection equipment and ensuring calibration accuracy. Unloading of material from the Vertical Line.

Hours:

8.00 A.M. - 4.00 P.M. Monday to Friday + Overtime.

Hours may vary depending on production.

Overtime pay

Paid weekly
