Job Description

To uphold a quality culture and ensure the best in class performance to our Internal and External customer base, implementing relevant quality control procedures, driving process controls and continuous improvement across all the companies operations. Be the onsite Lean change agent, raise awareness, and drive behavioural change leading to a culture of best in class. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement.

About The Role



Drive out process waste to directly improve the OTIFEF KPIs and deliver bottom line cost savings to the business. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality-related concerns. Collaborate with engineering, production and EHS departments to improve product design and manufacturing process. To work with key business stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to start and support an ongoing programme of change Management of BS EN ISO 9001 business system and all Quality KPIs Ensuring that all systems are maintained so that the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 are met and, as defined, kept under review, by means of formal and informal audits Ensuring, by means of the defined reporting system, that the Directors of the Company are kept abreast of all important developments affecting quality matters Management of non-conformances and interaction with relevant department on corrective actions and review actions Identify trends/analyse business data and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system Develop and take ownership of a 'best-in-class' continuous improvement strategy Leading and supporting the business improvement strategies across the site, providing challenge, facilitation and coaching where required Ensuring that all external testing is carried out and recorded Auditing of local quality procedures and systems and ensuring all products are produced within tolerances specified Interaction with external suppliers to address non-conforming product Coaching at all levels, including the Senior Leadership Team, and championing Lean activities, 5s/PCS/PDCA/Kaizen at all levels, Improve safety on site through the use of RCA and Corrective action. Apply Lean principles to our Safety Systems and support the safety culture change

Required Criteria



+ Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or 5+ years of equivalent experience) + Strong project management skills, experience of Kaizen and 5's Ownership
+ Expert in Lean skills and techniques, influencing and engaging others within this function
+ Experience of working within ISO9001 and 14001
+ Minimum of Green belt in six sigma or relevant Lean alternative qualification
