, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house -- from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. We currently have a vacancy for a Quality Inspector to work

afternoon shifts Mon to Fri.



Key Responsibilities:



Lead internal audits throughout the audit cycle and drive continuous improvement activities in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Perform in-process checks for painting at every stage, including visual assessments, DFT, WFT, paint adhesion, and P.I.G tests. Ensure compliance with surface preparation processes, checking profiles in accordance with MTSP 187. Ensure the correct environmental conditions are maintained in the paint booth. Monitor, calibrate, and record all relevant equipment on QC forms, controlling calibration periods. Conduct incoming material inspections to verify compliance with specifications. Maintain full traceability of all quality records and ensure adherence to specifications. Perform final visual inspections, checking for damage, burrs, paint quality, and part markings.

Key Roles:



Assist in the safe delivery of products, adhering to all relevant safety and quality guidelines. Prepare materials for the next stage in the process, ensuring accurate marking for welding and painting. Oversee paint material preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring correct volumes. Liaise with other departments to foster strong communication and collaboration. Ensure product release processes comply with customer specifications for the finishing area. Continuously look for ways to improve processes, increasing efficiency and product quality.

Skills & Qualifications:



Strong knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Relevant

Qualification

in BGAS or NACE or Time Served in Industry. Proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments.
