Quality Performance Specialist

Job Description


In this role you will drive the site\xe2\x80\x99s quality performance and improvements to provision in all subject areas (including functional skills), champion excellence in teaching, learning, assessment and behavior management strategies relevant to the custodial setting and promote PeoplePlus corporate values and procedures in all aspects of teaching and learning. This role will be based at HMP Bedford working 37.5 hours per week.

What we are looking for

  • Teaching qualification (QTLS as appropriate) / Assessor/Verifier Award
  • Knowledge of current relevant initiatives in further education of Functional Skills
  • Ability to cultivate an aspirational culture in which teaching staff and learners can thrive and grow
  • Ability to drive for travelling around regions for sharing best practice
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to lead and support, working effectively within a team
