We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Practitioner to join our team, working on a key local project in Bridgwater for a well-respected client.
Quality Planning- Designing systems to deliver reliable outputs, such as developing and implementing Quality Management Plans.
Quality Assurance- Providing confidence to stakeholders that quality standards are upheld, for example through audits and compliance checks.
Quality Control - Verifying that products or services meet agreed specifications via inspections and testing.
Continuous Improvement - Preventing recurrence of quality issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Design, implement, and monitor quality systems to ensure consistent adherence to standards and best practices
Conduct sample testing and inspections to confirm product or service compliance with specifications.
Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and data analysis to support decision-making and compliance.
Identify and drive improvements in processes, systems, and outcomes to enhance overall quality performance
Work closely with engineering, construction, operations, and customer teams to resolve quality concerns and promote a culture of quality
Apply relevant quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001, to ensure compliance and excellence
Analyse data to detect trends and patterns and troubleshoot complex quality issues effectively.
Convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and foster engagement in quality initiatives
Ensure precision and accuracy in all quality-related activities and documentation.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of quality management principles and standards, particularly ISO 9001.
Ability to collect, interpret, and leverage data to inform quality decisions and improvements.
Capable of engaging stakeholders and motivating teams to adopt and maintain high-quality practices
Skilled in identifying, analysing, and resolving quality-related challenges efficiently and sustainably.
Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) testing and BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting
