The Opportunity
As a
Quality Support (PDA)
within Building Construction Products (BCP), you'll be part of the team that carries out Pre-Delivery Audits, the final quality checks before our machines leave the Desford facility. This involves inspecting fully built machines to ensure they meet all specifications, are fully functional, and ready for our customers. It's a hands-on role focused on identifying and resolving issues, improving build quality, and supporting continuous improvement, perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for getting things right.
What you will do:
As a
Quality Support (PDA)
, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
Carrying out audits on fully built machines using inspection standard work.
Performing key quality checks including Machine Preservation Audits, Sound Testing, and Compliance procedures.
Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects across departments.
Accurately recording and communicating defects using digital and visual tools.
Providing clear, actionable feedback to improve build quality.
Leading or supporting defect investigations and training new team members.

What You Can Demonstrate:
Applied quality understanding in a manufacturing or engineering environment, able to follow and contribute to quality processes confidently.
High attention to detail, consistently able to spot and report issues accurately, with a proactive approach to resolving them.
Clear and confident communication skills, able to share findings effectively and work collaboratively across teams.
Competent IT skills, comfortable using digital tools and systems to record, report and analyse quality data.
What You May Have:
Proven skills in quality assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment, actively contributed to quality processes and supported issue resolution and improvement initiatives.
