We're currently looking for a Quality Technician to support a project at one of our automotive customer sites based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

Working as part of the established quality team the you will ensure defined quality standards are achieved, maintained and improved.

You'll perform inspection of components and materials at Goods-in to defined quality standards and receive into the ERP system.

Other duties and responsibilities will also include -



Carry out patrol and final inspection of machine shop components Perform the inspection of in-house manufactured parts and finished products when required Maintain 5S standards of order and cleanliness within goods receipt and inspection areas Carry out final paperwork checks on finished products

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment in an inspection quality role or production role Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Ability to interpret engineering drawings Experience in using a large variety of measurement equipment. Use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) would be advantageous
