Nelipak Elsham - a leading flexible packaging business has an excellent opportunity for an organised and dedicated individual to permanently join our team!

We are seeking to recruit a

Quality Assurance Technician

working 4 on/4 off (2 days/2 nights).

Purpose of the role:

To provide support to the factory Quality System as directed by the Quality Manager/Quality Co-Ordinator

Specific responsibilities

:

Re-work material that has been quarantined from previous 24 hours; Support the volume coming off the 3rd Slitter running medical; Support the release of medical products that will be supplied direct from Extrusion;
Carry out internal Quality audits of the quality systems including product, 5's, hygiene, glass and Insects audits;

Supervise quality records and retained samples;

Organise materials in quarantine, maintain records, and notify relevant personnel;

Control of positive release;

Generate / control process control check sheets from the customer / internal specifications for lamination;

Carry out material analysis for product development and corrective action investigations;

Perform and report product inspection / testing for:

- Materials in Quarantine

- New materials / development

- Others as directed

Input non - conforming material information on to the computer for reporting purposes;

QA Administration work as assigned including Filing;

Other projects as assigned including WCM;

Assist in all Quality Areas Cross - Functional;

Any other tasks commensurate with the role.

Ability to work under minimal supervision
