We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Quality Technician

to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our glass products.

HOURS FOR THIS ROLE ARE 10:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and quality checks on glass products at various stages of production Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications Record and analyze data using measurement tools and quality systems Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product or process non-conformities Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and tools Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality control and assurance Communicate quality issues clearly to production, engineering, and management teams Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate documentation

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role (ideally in a manufacturing environment) Understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.) and statistical process control (SPC) Familiarity with measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Basic knowledge of glass manufacturing processes is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
