Job Description


We are working with a leading, global, chemical business in their search for an additional Quality Technician. This role is pivotal to supporting the businesses ongoing and R&D activities and stis within a highly professional team of Quality Specialists. The Quality Technician will develop their skill set further with internal and external training. There is a clear progression path to a Quality Engineering role.
You will be joining a global business that has invested significantly in its people and the Cambridge facility. This is world class chemical manufacturing to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Core duties include:

  • Undertake investigations, Quality Projects and data collection exercises for the department
  • Undertake liaising with Suppliers, under guidance of QE\'s
  • Become familiar with the business\'s software systems, Global and local, used to support QC and QA
  • Take a pro-active role in any requested audit programmes, both internal and external.
  • Take an active part in Customer specification reviews
  • Support in the resolution of internal and external Customer queries
  • Maintenance of quality records and management of archiving activities and facilities
You will have previous experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Preferably you will hold a HNC or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
