Quality Technician



We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Technician to measure, test and analyse the products as requested using equipment in Analysis room/CMM room and to make relevant reports about analysed products.

Key Accountabilities and Activities:



Analyse Returns:

Perform analysis of products returned from customers/field, identify defect and cause.

Function Test and measurement:

Perform function test and measurement on new/re-designed and existing products as required.

Product Reliability:

Test product reliability, according to customer needs and timescales.

Reporting:

Produce clear and accurate reports for testing/investigation/measurement and analysis results and conclusions with the use of analytical methods if required.

Equipment Inspection/Repair:

Inspect equipment regularly and perform basic repairs and maintenance.

Documentation:

Maintain basic procedures and SOP's for test equipment. Support Customer and Supplier PPAP submissions.

Supporting Production:

Support production department on ad hoc duties as and when required. For example, if there is a requirement for containment activities.

Key Competencies



In depth knowledge of GD&T along with CMM programming skill, operation of test stands and functional knowledge of automotive parts. Report writing skills, communication skills, fault finding skills i.e. the ability to identify the basic causes of faults. To display the necessary attributes in relation to the seven drivers to success. ONC level or further education in engineering field. PC literate. (Word/Excel) At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment programming and using CMM's
