My client, a leading manufacturer with a reputation for excellence, is currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quality Technician to join their team.

Please note:

This role operates on a

3 days on / 3 days off

shift pattern, offering a unique work-life balance and consistent schedule.

The Role



As a Quality Technician, you'll be a vital part of the quality team, supporting the delivery of high-performing products that meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. Working in a fast-paced setting, your focus will be on ensuring compliance, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to a culture of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct root cause analysis and implement structured 7-step corrective action plans Inspect and test materials, processes, and finished goods to ensure compliance Perform internal audits and support supplier and external audits (ISO9001) Monitor production and ensure processes are followed accurately at every stage Actively participate in the NCR process and promote continuous improvement Maintain calibration schedules and ensure accurate measurement tools are in place Support quality packaging and product presentation to meet customer expectations Collaborate with internal teams to reduce waste, improve yield, and enhance satisfaction

Essential Skills & Experience:



Previous experience in a quality-based role within manufacturing Solid knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems Confident with problem-solving frameworks and analytical thinking Experienced with ERP/MRP systems and modern planning tools Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with internal audits and quality improvement practices

Desirable:



Experience with extrusion or plastics manufacturing Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Understanding of ISO14001 and environmental standards
