Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.
A Quantitative Strategist (Quant Strat) designs, develops and implements through direct coding (C++; Python) quantitative strategic models, risk management and pricing solutions to meet business needs and drive strategy.
In this role you will use your domain knowledge and strong technical coding expertise to contribute to the overall delivery of strategic initiatives within a business, function or a bank-wide program. You will drive a specific work package and develop and implement this as part of a wider program. You will work under the leadership of either a Principal or Lead Quantitative Strategist, in partnership with the program sponsor, program team and wider stakeholders within the Bank.

Your key responsibilities
Responsible for end-to-end development and support of products and tools
Fund Transfer Pricing Processes for Treasury and various businesses at Deutsche Bank
Risk Management analytics and reporting tools
Support the implementation of various regulatory requirements such as Liquidity Ratios, buffers as well as Risk in Banking Book
Implementation and support for Quantitative models/analytic
Your skills and experience
Excellent quantitative, analytical and risk management skills
Good computing and programming skills, including C++ and Python experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability and aspiration to use, learn, and extend large codebase dealing with complex business problems
Familiarity/ understanding of business and markets; experience with funding or banking businesses is a plus
