Your role:

  • sit within the Principal Flow Trading stream, developing next generation trading solutions in an agile fashion
  • operate within a high-performing, fast paced quant development team, whose goals are directly aligned to the business
  • add meaningful functionality which will help to grow the business which is technology driven, and have a direct impact on revenues
  • work closely and directly with quantitative analysts, sales and risk traders, gaining an understanding of pricing models and workflows, and their implementation in real time trading systems
  • create low latency server side solutions, primarily written in Java
  • opportunities to work across the full stack from front end to server

Front office Quant Dev Team, sitting within the Principal Flow Trading Stream, with a business reporting line. US based role within a global team.
Your expertise
Your expertise:
  • preferably previous experience working with Equity Derivatives
  • ideally around 5+ years of core Java experience
  • ideally around 2+ years of UI (HTML5 / Javascript) experience
  • low latency, event driven programming paradigms
  • performance profiling and optimization of code
  • adapt at picking up new frameworks and enhancing where necessary
  • experience with time series databases a plus
  • familiar with working in an agile team, and delivering at pace
  • proactive, collaborative, motivated
