Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for a specialist retail Cost Managers to join our Real Estate team to support on a range of high profile retail fit out and refurbishment projects.

Whether you have vast experience in the sector or just a strong interest in retail, the individual must be self-motivated and client facing with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients. This will involve establishing early budgets, early estimating, and cost planning, managing a design team to the budget, tendering and procurement (single and two stage) and post contract reporting to the client.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Managing the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across of all Design & Construction and Facilities Management projects
• Producing guidance notes on the reporting structure so that clients and vendors ensure they are all adequately trained on the reporting process.
• Stakeholder management through chairing of client meetings, presenting findings from the data reported on by vendors within region.
• Publishing and presenting monthly reports, monthly programme dashboards and bi-weekly status reports.
• Regular interaction with vendor representatives working collaboratively with each vendor to ensure they are able to effectively report on their projects.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
• Experience in delivering retail fit out projects for corporate clients preferabe but not essential
• Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
