As Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key part in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of our steelwork projects from tender through to final account. Working closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors, you will ensure financial control and contractual compliance across multiple contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Administer JCT and NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Analyse project costs, prepare budgets and forecasts, and report on commercial performance.
Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment certification.
Prepare detailed cost/value reconciliations and cashflow forecasts.
Provide commercial advice to operational teams and support risk management.
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

About You
Essential:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial role within construction.
Strong understanding of JCT/NEC contract administration.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and numerical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost management tools.
Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable:
Experience in the structural steel or heavy fabrication sector.
Chartered status (RICS/CICES) or working towards professional qualification.
