As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced

Quantity Surveyor

to take a leading role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of our projects.

The Role: Quantity Surveyor

This is a pivotal role within the business, offering the opportunity to lead on multiple projects from pre-contract through to final account. You will bring strategic oversight and commercial acumen to ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of flooring projects across various sectors Prepare accurate cost estimates, tenders, and budgets Manage contracts and oversee contractual compliance Conduct valuations, manage variations, and prepare final accounts Develop strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Mentor and support junior staff as the commercial team grows Provide detailed financial reports to senior leadership Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements Carry out regular site visits and attend progress meetings

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying Proven track record managing high-value commercial projects Strong understanding of construction contracts, especially JCT Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Full UK driving licence
