Job Role


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the and support in the delivery of a key infrastructure project - a Cycle Route Upgrade Scheme in Crewe.




The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of the project, which is being delivered under an NEC contract.

Duties


Administer and manage the NEC contract in line with company and client expectations Preparation and submission of interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports Assist in the procurement and management of subcontract packages Support change management and compensation event processes Liaise with the client and project team to provide accurate cost forecasting and risk assessments Ensure commercial controls are in place and adhered to Prepare monthly reports, including earned value analysis and CVRs

Person Specification


Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Proven experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts Proficient in cost reporting, forecasting, and subcontract management Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

Contract Type: Permanent


Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
