Drylining Quantity Surveyor
About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in drylining and interior fit-out to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of drylining packages on a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This is a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget, with strong cost control and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial and contractual elements of drylining projects from inception to final account
  • Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
  • Measure and value works in line with project specifications and drawings
  • Assess subcontractor applications, variations, and payments
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with project managers to support budget management and reporting
  • Produce cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all commercial activities
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with a strong focus on drylining/interior fit-out
  • In-depth knowledge of drylining systems (SFS, MF ceilings, partitions, plastering, etc.)
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and commercial management software
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Full UK driving licence
