Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in South West London. This pivotal role will contribute to our mission by managing project costs effectively, ensuring that our refurbishment projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for refurbishment projects Monitor project budgets and expenditures Conduct cost analysis and provide financial reports Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial efficiency Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or refurbishment industry Strong understanding of cost control principles Excellent analytical and negotiation skills Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Excel) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Knowledge of current construction regulations and standards
