ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cost planning, estimation, and financial control across multiple projects
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities
  • Conduct risk and value management assessments
  • Monitor project progress and ensure project costs align with budgets
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure clear communication and project efficiency
  • Evaluate completed work and arrange payments to contractors
  • Provide strategic input during design and pre-construction phases
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within office fit-out or refurbishment projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working on projects within London and the South of England preferred
