We are seeking an experienced

Quantity Surveyor

to join our commercial team and support the successful delivery of this pioneering project. This is an opportunity to be part of a once-in-a-generation development that will help the UK achieve its net zero commitments.

What you'll be doing



As a

Quantity Surveyor

, you will:


Provide commercial and contractual support across key work packages. Manage subcontract procurement, payments, valuations, and variations. Prepare accurate cost forecasts, reports, and risk assessments. Ensure robust contract administration and protect Balfour Beatty's commercial position. Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and the client to deliver value and efficiency.



Who we're looking for

You will have the following:




Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within major infrastructure, civil engineering, or energy projects Strong knowledge of NEC contracts Excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial management skills Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to thrive in a high-profile, fast-paced environment.
