Quantity Surveyor - Nottingham - 35k- 50k plus bonus

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is crucial for managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the construction process. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Ideally you will have at least 3 years experience working on a variety if refurbishment or fit out projects with in the UK.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures. Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial objectives are met. Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate financial risks. Prepare tender documents and evaluate contractor bids. Maintain accurate records of project costs and financial reports.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients. Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
