About Us



We're a fast-growing, privately-owned development company specialising in residential housing across the North West. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality homes for a diverse range of clients. Our projects span contract, market sale, and affordable housing schemes, typically ranging in value from 2m to 10m.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious, driven and passionate Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Department. You'll work closely with our Commercial Manager and support both live and upcoming developments, playing a key role in the commercial delivery of our projects.

The Role



You'll be part of a small, dynamic team where your contribution will make a real impact. We're looking for someone who's hands-on, commercially aware, and eager to take on more responsibility as they grow with us.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Production of viability/feasibility studies and information to support decision-making in site acquisition and new project tenders. Procurement and commercial management of sub-contract works Preparing tender packages, tender submission analysis and awarding of contracts, valuations/application for payments, variations and final accounts Procurement, programming and commercial management of material and product supply chains. Costing and preparation of budgets for each aspect of new projects and analysis/control throughout the development process. Cost and value reconciliation Liaising with site personnel and subcontractors as required Assessment of Health and Safety Contractor Competency Attend and influence pre-construction and site meetings Knowledge of JCT design and build projects preferrable but not essential Valuation for contract works, variations, Cash flow, Final accounts

What We're Looking For



Commercially savvy and solution-focused A confident communicator and team player Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks IT literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills In possession of a valid CSCS card and UK driving licence

Qualifications & Experience



HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Ideally 3+ years' experience in the residential sector, but we're open to candidates at all levels--from Assistant through to Senior--depending on the value and relevance of your experience
