We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team. As an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in cost management and the tendering process, working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and the Financial Director. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The Company:
A leading specialist in high-end residential renovation, focusing on prestigious properties in central London. Typical project value 500K to 2.5M.
Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects.
Contribute to developing and monitoring project budgets.
Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities.
Tendering and Contract Management:
Support the creation and submission of tender documents.
Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients and subcontractors.
Maintain and update contract records.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site personnel.
Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Attend project meetings to provide financial updates.
Education & Background:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years relevant experience in a Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating
Previous experience in the prime residential sector is beneficial but not essential.
