Job Description

North Lincolnshire Council have a vacancy for a Principal Quantity Surveyor (Projects).



The role is responsible for the provision of high quality and professional Quantity Surveying services, that support the delivery of the North Lincolnshire Council construction works programmes across the full lifecycle of construction projects.



You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle, using the NEC suite of contracts and have a degree or HNC qualification in Quantity Surveying and be professionally qualified (RICS or similar) - experience in lieu of qualification may be considered.



You will have high-level knowledge relating to legislation and regulations appropriate to construction, contract law, construction contracts, tendering and procurement and experience at a senior level in a Quantity Surveying, cost management environment and able to provide a high-quality professional Quantity Surveying service in support of the Council's construction related works programme.



You will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and respond to a busy and changing environment. Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills are therefore essential to this busy role.



This role offers opportunities for hybrid working and will require the post holder to visit construction sites across North Lincolnshire.
