About the Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial aspects of multiple projects and play a vital role in supporting our continued growth. You will report to the Commercial Manager and be part of a supportive and driven team at our

Ston Easton head office

.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the commercial elements of projects from start to final account. Prepare and submit applications for payment in a timely manner. Price and collate variations throughout the project lifecycle. Interpret and work from technical drawings. Produce accurate cash flow forecasts and financial reports as needed. Ensure certifications and payments are obtained in accordance with subcontract agreements. Negotiate and settle final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Monitor and collect retention payments. Liaise with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding commercial matters.

What We're Looking For

Experience in the

Groundworks or Civils

sector is preferred, but not essential. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract terms. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation. A proactive, positive attitude with a collaborative approach. Confident in working within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
