Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to projects across all aspects of facilities Management, ensuring that they are completed within budget. You will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of projects, providing essential cost control and financial management expertise.

Duties

Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labour, and overheads. Monitor project costs and provide regular reports on financial performance against budgets. Conduct risk assessments and advise on potential cost implications of changes in project scope. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible terms. Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions related to projects. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction and or FM industry is essential. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in cost control techniques and financial management practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with relevant software tools for quantity surveying is advantageous.
