We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive NEC contract experience to lead a high-profile infrastructure project. This is a senior-level position offering the opportunity to contribute to strategic contract delivery and play a key role in the expansion of our NEC contract management capability across major projects.
Long O Donnell is currently recruiting for Project Quantity Surveyors / Senior QS's to work on a variety of projects across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and for experienced intermediate level Quantity Surveyors or Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on a variety of projects. These roles would be ideal for individuals from an Energy, Oil & Gas, Water, Utilities, Mechanical, Nuclear, Infrastructure or similar background with experience of bespoke or NEC3 contracts.
About the Opportunity
As a Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining our existing team, to provide commercial support to a portfolio of projects at various stages of their lifecycle. Your role will involve pre and post contract work using predominately NEC forms of contract and bespoke contracts based on NEC3.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience working within a Project QS / SQS capacity. Specifically, you should have:
Experience of providing pre-contract support e.g. compilation of works information, preparation of ITTs, tender evaluations, negotiations, contract award etc.
Knowledge and/or experience of contract strategy e.g. adapting / developing standard forms of contract to meet client requirements.
Demonstrable experience of administering contracts, in particular NEC3. This will include notification processes, assessment of additional works, contractual correspondence etc.
Ability to effectively manage your time and adapt to changing priorities as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
