This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. We're proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work with Scottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme.

What will you be doing?
You'll be part the Commercial Team. Responsible for carrying out the administration of the commercial and financial aspects of the Capital Delivery Framework. The role will involve working closely with the delivery team delivering both clean and waste infrastructure projects.
You'll work with the delivery team, providing support to both the delivery management and on-site delivery teams. Embracing the outperformance mentality, you'll ensure that operations are carried out to control costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard.
Responsible for assisting the programme area Estimating team to ensure robust estimates align to scope and make allowance for risks and opportunities. You will work closely with the Procurement team, Construction team and Project team in preparing Subcontracts and procurement strategies and ensuring they reflect agreed scope. You will produce accurate live forecasting, considering the programme and reporting in accordance with the respective work breakdown structure / cost breakdown structure.
You'll be responsible for ensuring actual costs are monitored and assessed. Provide reports on actual costs vs. estimate and identifying underlying reasons for any variance & resolutions, highlight, challenge and resolve variance to latest plans.
You will ensure that all project team members (including site staff) understand the contractual arrangements, in order to satisfy Client & Partner organisation requirements. You will also ensure that proper records are kept & maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available. You will need to liaise with the Project team to ensure any Contractual notifications required are issued in accordance with the Contract.
