We are looking to engage a Quantity Surveyor to support our growing team of engineering project managers in the delivery of projects across our client base.
This is a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our projects by managing costs, contracts, and client relationships from inception through to final account.
As a Quantity Surveyor at New Way, you will play an integral part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work across a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized construction and engineering projects, taking ownership of financial and contractual management while supporting sustainable, environmentally conscious delivery.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified, or, as a minimum will hold BTEC Level 4 HNC in Construction and the Built Environment (surveying) and will be willing to study to become degree qualified / chartered.
Our projects are largely Mechanical and Electrical in nature, an M&E background is desirable but not essential.

A degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent qualification) with relevant professional experience
Strong understanding of construction:
Cost planning
Contracts (NEC, JCT in particular)

Valuations & Payments
Risk Management
Excellent numerical, analytical,
Proficient in Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Proven capability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
Membership of (or working towards) MRICS or equivalent professional body
