Artifex Homes is a construction company based in Welwyn Garden City, we complete residential new builds, extensions and renovations and are looking for a talented

Quantity Surveyor

to join our forward-thinking and quality-driven team.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor at Artifex Homes, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial success and cost-efficiency of our construction projects. You will be required to deliver accurate cost planning, contract administration, and value engineering across a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets Manage procurement and tender processes Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations Monitor project progress and ensure financial control Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports Identify and manage project risks and variations Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors

About You

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential or bespoke housing projects Strong knowledge of building contracts and current construction legislation Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills Confident communicator and skilled negotiator Proficient in MS Excel and relevant QS software
This will be a PAYE role and pay will depend on experience.

This will be a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the office two days a week and the rest can be completed working remotely but this can be discussed in more detail at interview.
