Quantity Surveyor - Building & Civil Engineering Contractor

We are a long-established, family-run building and civil engineering contractor based on the Wirral. With a strong team spirit and a reputation for high-quality project delivery, we work on a wide range of industrial and commercial projects across the region.

About the role:

You will work closely with company directors to ensure cost control and commercial performance across a range of projects, typically ranging from 10K to 2.5M in value. Preparing and administering interim valuations Monitoring variations and preparing associated reports and claims Negotiating and agreeing final accounts Procuring subcontract packages and specialist materials/components Managing subcontract interim and final accounts Supporting buying and occasionally assisting with estimating Contributing to commercial strategy and reporting progress across live projects

About You:

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working on both building and civil engineering projects A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with directors, site teams, and clients
