Job Description
We are a well established Construction Contractor based in Leicester and are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to play a pivotal role in the future of the business with a clear path towards directorship.
The Role
Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender submissions
Managing budgets, cost control and contract administration
Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Monitoring and controlling subcontractor payments
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Contributing to business development and company growth
The Candiate
Proven experience as a
Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator
within the construction industryStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ambitious, driven and keen to take on leadership responsibilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
Desire and capability to progress to a
Director-level role
