Quarry ManagerApplication Deadline: 30 May 2025Department: Operations and MaintenanceEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Beauly, BalblairDescriptionAs the Quarry Manager at Beauly Quarry, you enjoy working in a 'hands on' position efficiently managing a busy Quarry alongside a close-knit group of colleagues. This role also covers our Morefield Quarry, near Ullapool, so a degree of travel will be required.You're not someone who likes to sit in an office all day; although there will be an element of People Management and Paperwork, the ability to be out on site being involved in the operation is part of the role. • NVQ Level 4/5 in Health, Safety & Environmental Management
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of blasting operations, crushing & screening and maintenance activities
• Good leadership skills to promote a positive team working environment
• Ability to plan, organise and oversee multiple operations
• Flexible, proactive approach to establish high standards of work performance
• Effective communication & problem-solving skills
• Computer literate and comfortable using MS Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
• A valid UK Driving License
